Obviamente la manera formal es:
VBoxManage clonevdi
¡Pero no funciona! así que el truco es cambiar el UUID del disco virtual para que VBox no lo reconozca como uno ya existente:
cp original.dvi copia.dvi
VBoxManage internalcommands setvdiuuid copia.vdi
Y listo, funciona a la perfección; aunque no reconoce los drivers de mi tarjeta de red, pero sospecho que ese es otro tipo de problema.

Les adjunto la informacion que me indica al intentar realizar la clonación del disco, aunque lo he copiado para intentar hacerlo funcionar correctamente, pero el UUID no se como cambiarlo.

Intente varias veces con el comando $ VBoxManage clonevdi ImagenOrigen.vdi ImagenDestino.vdi
pero me tiraba un error, de la forma que dices tu funciona a la perfección ¡Gracias!
